In the early 21st century, the emergence of a new house is anticipated by the technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, just as the change of production caused by the Industrial Revolution in the early 20th century revolutionized our residential environment by introducing a new type of house. <Future House 2020> explores the relationship between house and technology throughout the whole cycle in which the house is designed, built and used, and the changes in life triggered by technology. We look at changes in our lives through the houses of architects built with advanced technologies such as digital manufacturing, artificial intelligence, algorithms, robotics, new media, and modularity. As our life unfolds in a house, a house would be manufactured for me and resonate and change with me.
